Mental Health Mondays

As we continue to navigate this unique time in all our lives, we need to remember to take care of ourselves and our families both physically and mentally.

For this reason, each Monday, we will be posting some information and resources to be used by all members of our Panther Valley family, including students and their families, as well as faculty and staff.

Some people don’t agree with the state opening … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some people are still planning to stay home … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some are thankful they can finally have a surgery they have put off … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some will wear masks for weeks … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Some people will rush out to get their hair or nails done … that’s OK.  Be kind.

Everyone has different viewpoints and feelings … that’s OK.  Be kind.

We each have a different story.  Don’t judge fellow humans without knowing their story.

If you need to stay home, stay home and be kind.

If you need to go out, just respect others when in public and be kind.”

As we move into summer, we want to remind you that you are not alone.  Each Monday, we are going to share some tips and resources to help you take care of yourself, we’re calling it Mental Health Monday.  Check back on our website/social media each week for something new. 

If you’re struggling, please reach out for help.  If someone is in immediate danger, please call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.
