Founded in 1964, The Panther Valley School District is located in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. The school district serves students who reside in boroughs of Coaldale in Schuykill County, Lansford, Nesquehoning, and Summit Hill in Carbon County.
Panther Valley has a rich history, an inspiring team of faculty and staff and a diverse and highly motivated student body. With a challenging academic program and extensive co-curricular offerings that include arts, athletics, service, and leadership, our focus is on fully developing the mind, body and heart of every child from kindergarten through Grade12.
We are a dynamic learning community for boys and girls to team and learn together. Active involvement and a genuine desire to reach new heights are guiding principles.

SCHOOL DIRECTOR VACANCY
The Panther Valley School District Board of Directors are accepting applications to fill the vacant position on the Panther Valley School Board to serve until December, 2013. Interested candidates, who are residents of Panther Valley and at least 18 years of age, have until the close of business on May 13, 2013 to submit a letter of interest and resume to the District’s Administration Office. Interested candidates should explain in their letter of intent why he or she would like to serve as school director as well as any qualifications and experiences that might benefit the board and school district. Letters of application can be submitted to the attention of the Superintendent, Panther Valley School District, 1 Panther Way, Lansford, PA 18232.
