PVSD Holiday Heroes

A flyer announces in-person registration dates for the Panther Valley Holiday Heroes toy distribution program.

Because there is no Toys for Tots campain this school year, this program serves children residing within Panther Valley School District in ZIP codes 18232, 18240, 18250, and 18218, from birth through age 12 or sixth grade. Our goal is to provide each registered child with at least two toys appropriate for the child’s age and gender. Volunteers will select the toys, and all gifts will be distributed unwrapped.

Registration must be completed in person during one of the sessions on the flyer. Registration by phone or online is not available. Gifts must be picked up in person on Friday December 11^th at the Nesquehoning Recreation Center between 12:00-6:00. Registration requirements apply, please click here for the full information

Toy donations are being accepted at the following locations: Mauch Chunk Trust in Redners, Narrow Valley Sportsplex, No. 3 Cafe, No. 9 Coal Mine & Museum, Valley Athletic, Hiles Brothers, St. Joseph’s Church/Knights of Columbus.

New Student Enrollment

If you have a child to enroll in the district, please follow these directions to register your child. For students in kindergarten, you should register at the elementary school between 8am and 1pm. All other grade levels, you should make an appointment by calling 570-645-2175. Please note that it may take up to 5 school days for a student to being once paperwork is received in the individual school building.

Cheer on the Panthers at their home football game on 10/23. Kick-off at 7pm

Panthers Volleyball

Cheer on the Varsity Volleyball team at home on 10/15. Game starts at 7pm

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Students will have an early dismissal on November 4^th, November 5^th, and November 6^th. Sign-ups for conferences are posted to ParentSquare
