Effective Summer 2026:
The Panther Valley athletics department will be utilizing Arbiter Sports for PIAA Sport Physical management - the previous software, Big Teams was recently bought out by Arbiter, and will no longer be utilized.

Accounts can be created on a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop/desktop device. 

4. When going for a sport physical, you only need to bring sections 5 and 6 with you.

Student-athletes wishing to participate in a PIAA sport/activity must have a sports physical prior to completion. The PIAA requires that students need to receive a sports physical on an annual basis.

2. All CIPPE forms must be complete and submitted prior to participation in sport.

Unable to make a St. Luke's Sports Medicine physicals' event? You can visit a St. Luke's Care Now center for a PIAA sport physical for $25!
Care Now centers are located in Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, and Tamaqua!

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to UPLOAD a completed physical for their student to Arbiter Sports in order for them to participate in a Panther Valley sport. 

Frequently Asked Questions:
  1. I made an appointment for my sports physical...what papers do I need to bring with me?
    1. You only need to bring with you section 5 (complete) and section 6 (for the medical provider to complete). 
  2. I've never played a sport for Panther Valley JrSr High School before...what do I need to do? 
    1. You will need to create an account on Arbiter Sports
    I just received a sport physical for the spring season...do I need a new physical for the fall?
    1. Yes! The PIAA requires that students receive a new physical on or after May 1st of the current school year. Physicals dated April 30th, or prior, are not valid for the 26-27 school year.
  3. Can my school physical be used for participating in a sport?
    1. No. The PIAA requires that a CIPPE packet is completed for each student-athlete and is different from the school or driver's license physical.
