Pre-K Counts Visit the Governor's Mansion

The Panther Valley School District Pre-K Counts program, in partnership with Lehigh Valley Children's Center, went to Harrisburg for the Governor's Egg Hunt this week. 

Center Director Angie Krapf said, "It was a beautiful day. We had a table with snacks and goodie bags for the children. There was also a chalk station, a craft station, and a story station. Children could pet goats, a mini cow, and different bunnies. They also met the Easter Bunny. Then, the Governor came over for a photo with us. We also thanked him for supporting PreK and early education. We thanked him for his ideas to get more money to hire and keep staff. This helps us continue to teach and help children and families."
