The Supervisor of Special Education serves as the district's leader for special education programs and services, working to ensure that students with disabilities receive appropriate educational opportunities and supports in accordance with state and federal regulations. The Supervisor collaborates with students, families, teachers, administrators, and service providers to promote student success and ensure that special education programs meet the diverse needs of learners across the district.
Families may contact the Supervisor of Special Education for assistance with referrals for evaluation, special education eligibility, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, related services, educational placements, transition planning, dispute resolution, and questions regarding special education procedures and safeguards. The Supervisor also oversees the delivery of special education services, supports program development, coordinates compliance activities, and works to ensure that students receive the individualized supports necessary to achieve meaningful educational progress.

The School Psychologist plays an important role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of students throughout Panther Valley School District. Working collaboratively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community agencies, the School Psychologist helps identify student needs, develop appropriate supports, and promote positive outcomes that enhance learning and well being.
Families may contact a School Psychologist regarding special education evaluations and reevaluations, gifted evaluations, behavioral concerns, social and emotional supports, academic interventions, consultation regarding student learning needs, and participation in Student Problem Solving Team meetings. School Psychologists also assist with the interpretation of assessment data, development of individualized educational programs, behavioral planning, and the implementation of strategies designed to support student success in the school environment.
Through collaboration, assessment, consultation, and problem solving, School Psychologists help connect students and families with the resources and supports needed to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
