Panther Valley Pre K Counts

The Panther Valley Pre K Counts program, in partnership with Lehigh Valley Children's Center, provides high quality early childhood education that prepares young learners for success in kindergarten and beyond. Through a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment, children develop the academic, social, emotional, and communication skills needed to become confident, capable learners. Our program fosters curiosity, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning while supporting the unique needs of every child.

Program Information

• Location: Coaldale Complex, 150 W. Phillips Street, Coaldale, PA

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• Transportation: Transportation is provided to and from the program.

• Eligibility: Children who turn 3 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year through kindergarten age.

Program Services

Students participate in a comprehensive early learning program aligned with Pennsylvania's Early Learning Standards. Daily instruction includes:

• Early Literacy

• Mathematics

• Language Development

• Science

• Social Studies

• Social Emotional Learning

• Creative Play

The program also emphasizes family engagement, individualized support, and partnerships with community organizations to promote each child's overall growth and development.

Enrollment Information

Panther Valley Pre K Counts is funded through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is available at no cost to eligible families. Enrollment is based on age and family eligibility requirements established by the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). Families are encouraged to apply as early as possible, as enrollment is limited.
