Technology

Technology Department

Technology at Panther Valley School District is used as a tool to enhance learning, increase student engagement, and prepare students for success in a digital world. Our approach emphasizes that technology is most effective when it supports high quality, teacher led instruction rather than replacing it. Teachers thoughtfully integrate digital resources into lessons to provide opportunities for collaboration, creativity, research, practice, and individualized learning while maintaining the importance of meaningful relationships and direct instruction.

Students in grades 1 through 8 have access to Chromebooks that support classroom learning, educational applications, assessments, research, and communication. These devices provide students with opportunities to develop digital literacy skills while accessing resources that complement classroom instruction and extend learning beyond the school day.

Students in grades 9 through 12 are issued an individual Chromebook for their educational use. These devices allow students to access course materials, complete assignments, conduct research, collaborate with peers, and engage in learning both at school and at home. Through the thoughtful integration of technology across all grade levels, Panther Valley equips students with the skills and experiences needed to become responsible digital citizens and lifelong learners while keeping teaching and learning at the center of the educational experience
