The Panther Valley School District Business Office is committed to the responsible stewardship of district resources while supporting the educational mission of the district. Through sound financial management, efficient operations, and exceptional customer service, the Business Office ensures that the resources entrusted to the district are managed with transparency, accountability, and integrity.

The Business Office oversees a wide range of financial and operational responsibilities, including budget development and monitoring, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, grant financial management, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The department works closely with district administrators, staff, vendors, and community partners to ensure the efficient operation of district business services.

Business Office Staff

  • The Business Director provides leadership and oversight for the financial and operational functions of the Panther Valley School District, ensuring that district resources are managed responsibly in support of student learning and organizational excellence. Working closely with the Superintendent, Board of School Directors, administrators, and department leaders, the Business Director develops long term financial strategies that support the district's mission while maintaining fiscal responsibility and transparency.

    The Business Director oversees the development and administration of the district budget, financial planning, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, grant financial management, audits, investments, insurance, debt management, and compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. The position also provides leadership for business operations related to transportation, food services, facilities, and other operational services that support the daily functioning of the district.

    In addition to managing financial operations, the Business Director serves as a resource for employees, vendors, community members, and the Board of School Directors by providing financial analysis, reports, and recommendations that support informed decision making. Through strategic planning, sound fiscal management, and a commitment to accountability, the Business Director helps ensure that district resources are invested effectively to provide high quality educational opportunities for every Panther.

  • The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing funds received by the district and ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing and processing deposits, maintaining financial records, issuing invoices, collecting payments for district services and facility use, reconciling accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and assisting with financial reporting. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator also serves as a resource for families, community organizations, and vendors with questions regarding payments, invoices, and account balances.

  • The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of the district's financial obligations. Responsibilities include processing invoices, verifying purchase orders, preparing vendor payments, maintaining vendor records, reconciling statements, ensuring compliance with district purchasing procedures, and supporting financial audits. The Accounts Payable Coordinator works closely with district staff and vendors to ensure purchases are processed efficiently and payments are made in accordance with district policies and established timelines.
