Holiday Toys in Panther Valley

Panther Valley School District recently learned that the Schuylkill-Carbon County Marine League will not sponsor the Toys for Tots campaign for the area this year. We would like to thank the volunteers that gave countless hours over the years to this campaign. You have made an impact on so many children’s’ lives. There was an opportunity for those families in Lansford and Coaldale to register at the Tamaqua Salvation Army. Those registration dates have now passed. We appreciate the work that they continue to do.

The district understands that this may create uncertainty for families in the district. As a United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley Community School District, we are currently discussing how we can fill the need for the upcoming Holiday season.

We have begun to engage partners to conduct our own collection and distribution for this Holiday season. We anticipate releasing more information by the middle of October. We ask that you keep an eye on ParentSquare and the school Facebook pages for additional information about registering for toys.
